■   聖經教室  –  何謂「首生的」 ?   是否耶穌基督也是被造的   ? < 經文 >  歌羅西書  1 : 15 「愛子是那不能看見之神的像，是首生的，在一切被造的以先。」 “ He is the image of the invisible God , the firstborn over all creation . ” ★ 「首生」有二個意義  : ●   指婦人所生的頭胎孩子  (  路  2 : 7 ) (  來  11 : 28 ) 。 ●   比喻性用法  –  是指許多其他接著而來之人的「第一個」。這位復活的耶穌是從死裡復 活的「首生者」，因為基督徒也要從死裡復活  ( 西   1 : 18 ) ( 啟  1 : 5 ) ( 羅  8 : 29 ) 。 ★ 另外，在聖經裡「首生」是個尊 號，代表「重要」、「獨特」的意思。如以色列人是稱 為「首生的」 ( 出  4 : 22 ;  耶  31 : 9 )  ，表示他們是地上萬族中最尊貴的 ; 大衛也稱 作「首生 的」  ( 詩  89 : 27 ) ，表示他是世上最高的君王 ; 耶穌也被稱為「首生的」 ( 來 1 : 6 ) ，用來作為基督的稱呼。 ★ 因此，不是說祂是在其他人裡面第一個出生或第一個被造的，而是優於所有被造的 次序 ，並高過他們。在這裡，就 很清楚的把基督與一切受造物分別出來。愛子耶穌不是受造的，在 創造宇宙萬物之先，祂已經存在了。 ★   和合本的中譯也是錯譯的，不應有「 … 的以先」與「在 … 」的字詞出現。這就表示耶穌也 是被造物的行列內。 ★ 原文的文意為 “ …. , the firstborn over all recreation .   ” 所以，全句的正確中譯應為「愛 子是那不能看見之神的像，是首先的，超越一切被造者之上   」這便符合全段的內容了。 ...
